Interesting Observation
« on: August 12, 2007, 10:42:20 AM »

I was in Florida for a couple of weeks working and managed to make a couple of different "Bike Nights" at the local watering hole. I was a little surprised to see there were NO SCREAMING EAGLE bikes. None, nada, zip. Are guys keeping them at home so they don't get dirty or what? I know there's not a huge amount of them out there, but out of 200+ bikes I was expecting at least one or two. And not just that there were no SEUC's, there were none at all. Any ideas on why? :o

Timing?  I can't say I remember EVER seeing a CVO at the The Outpost near Ebro, FL.............but then again, I wasn't specifically looking for one at that time, since I was still riding the 02 Ultra.

Although I try, I cannot be at all watering holes at the same time.  Even at the rate of 2 :beerchug: per stop, there are only so many hours, oh, so little time...

Tim, where were you in Florida. I moved back to north Florida 2 months ago from Kansas City and have been surprised by how many CVO's I see - mainly on the road. I've also noticed that SEUC's far out number other CVO models. Went to a local bike night last Thursday evening. Despite the rain which was a welcome relief from the heat, there was a pretty good tum out. I have to admit though I had the only CVO in the lot so maybe your observations have credence.   :divers009:

Ride one of the screamin eagle bikes every day to work rain or shine.  It was meant to be ridden.

I was in Jacksonville. Bike night at Buffalo's Grill on Youngerman Circle. Had a great time, would have been better if I'd had my bike. On the flip side, it was so flamin' hot that it wouldn't have been a lot of fun during the day.

Considering I'm out of town 14 days at a time, I'm thinking that I'm not doing too bad mileage-wise. Got the 07 SEUC the end of May, left 7 days later, and made it to a little over 2600 last time I was home. I've seen a couple around KC, but not very often.

I saw you other message and I realize that you were in JAX (North Florida). I live in South Florida and there are too many CVO around it....and if you go to Central Florida too many more...BTW if you come to South Florida let me know and you can ride one of my two scooter and  :drink: together..........
