I have a standard height Clearview and HD windshield for my SERK.  I use both shields often, and I don't experience any turbulance or vibrations, and I don't have passing lamps.  Did you contact the folks at Clearview and get their opinion?  You might need a different height shield.

I had a tall Harley windshield installed that I had borrowed from the dealer while I was waiting for my Clearview and it was just as bad if not worse than my 19" Clearview.

OK folks, here's the update on the eyeball shaking. Yesterday I tried several different eye glasses and found that this effect is eliminate with the correct kind of riding glasses. Turbulence is still there I'm sure but you will NOT get this eyeball shaking unable to focus on signs effect if the correct glasses are worn. Wear a style with full rims around the Len and one that hugs your face ( a wrap around style ). A good pair of riding glasses from your local dealer will work great. I am also going to put the road lamps on and see if that actually cuts down on the turbulence issues. Will let you know the results.

The type of glasses and how they fit your face make a big difference! I've been wearing $5 K-D's for years. The K-D's sit flat across your eyes, and have always worked great for me, with or without a windshield. I guess that's why they call themselves "The Original Biker Shades"!

I had this degree of eye/head 'dribbling' both before AND after installation of aux. lights with the stock (14") SERK windshield. But, I did not relocate my turnsignals down onto the aux. lighting brackets.
This HEAD BUFFETING effect was completely removed when the windshield was removed.
18" Clearview with recurve did reduce this effect, but did not completely eliminate it. Same sunglasses and helmet (when worn) throughout. I'm 5'9'.
Dyna Beads in tires also helped reduce felt vibration, but this bike still seems to shake way too much at higher speeds--- i.e. 75 mph and up. It is FAR from a Bar-Co-Lounger!
I sure would like to ride another '07 SERK -- or have another SERK owner with a bike that does not seem to have excessive vibration ride mine for comparison. PLEASE NOTE; THIS OFFER DOES NOT EXTEND TO THE MEMBER DBA 'HOIST'!

I used to ride my old FLH without a windshield and always with full face helmet.  I rode with sunshades and without and didn't have any buffitting of my glasses or eyeballs.

I modified my frontend to accept the quick disconnect RK windshield.  I had a full height, 19"?, and it would force me to look right through the very top of the shield and it was very hard to ride on winding roads as the top was half way between under or over my viewing line of sight.  With this height shield I had no buffitting at all.

Not thinking much about it I've cut that one down about 3" and now when I'm riding on the road the top of the shield is just about at the ground of the vehicle I'm following.  This solved all my curving road issues with the shield causing viewing issues, but now my helmet really buffits.  With or without glasses my eyeballs shake.

If I dip my head a few inches down, the buffitting goes away.

I've just learned to live with it for the past couple years, although a fix would be great.

I'm thinking the tiny deflector that will be coming with my new SERK, as some have said, will do practically nothing to get the wind off me.

So I'll be looking to just drop my FLH assembly on it and see what happens.

I'll keep following this thread with the hope that something OTHER than the lower deflectors are the answer.

Thanks for all the information so far.

I tumbled onto something today while out for a scoot. A portion of the unwanted airstream is originating from that wind which strikes the fuel tank on both sides and then deflects off the operators knees and upper legs.
Try this ---- while riding, alternately 'hug' the fuel tank with your legs and then relax them i.e. let your legs fall away from the tank sides. You will feel/hear the difference in the airstream AROUND YOUR FACE.
Maybe we all should have bought full-faired bikes!
