I think something musta got f'd up when that oil line came off down in MV last year.  The bike never used a drop until these last two changes and it's been down a quart each time.  POS.

Not going to be too worried about one quart between oil changes are you?

However, unlike a lot of the brave souls on this site, I am not one to jump into something new (in this case, rednectum's build prowess) without seeing some results, first.  And by results, I am not necessarily talking just about numbers, but more how the build holds up longer-term.  We will soon have yours and then Terry's to see what happens, but assuming things are holding together a year from now for the two of you guys who rack some serious miles up and Dennis is still active on the site, etc. then yeah, he'll probably be on the top of the heap of possibilities somewhere.

BTW, thanks for the offer of a place to stay.

Shut up Mr. Fun Ruin-er!  I'm trying to talk Mrs. tHunDer into thinking there is a major problem with the motor, caused by running it up to redline under full throttle while one of the oil lines dangled freely in the mountain air, as evidenced by the low oil level registering on the dipstick every 2,500 miles or so.

Seriously, though, that chit pi$$es me off.  Never had a car, truck, motorcycle, lawn mower or weed eater that ever used oil.  Probably caused by out of balance pistons.

That's true, you've only got HID, cams, Traxxion Dynamics and a row boat load of other things to do to the Road Glide.  A quart in 2500 would be all over my buns too .

D@mn straight!  A Troy Built!  That thing does bettern than any lousy 2-stroke I ever had.  Automatic choke, too.  A sweet machine it it's own right!
