There really are some things I AM SO GLAD I've never experienced .

Henry...glad to hear the green bike running again.  Once a final tune is done, it will be nice to see some numbers, just for a reference point compared to the pull that was done with the stock set-up.  We both know that the peak numbers don't mean chit...with the new heads you've got on the motor, it's all about how FAST it gets there!  Be careful when you get on the bike for the first time, as you'll have to learn how to shift all over again...

HELLO..............MCFLY!  ANYBODY HOME?   
Dewd, we had that conversation already.   I'm from Alabama.........I don't live in Missouri.............we ride year round down here............so wrenchin' time is whenever you can get it done.  Actually..........truth be told..........I couldn't wait, and I figured if I waited until what little winter we do have, I'd get it back during the two week cold spell, and wouldn't be able to really enjoy it.  This way I'll be able to get it broke in, tuned right, and still be able to ride it all winter..........right up to the two week cold spell.

I figure if I haven't been put on at least DSP by now, then I'm probably destined for skid row.

henry, heres some info im sure you ben waiting on. tool thumper out for aride today.  ambient temp was 91* high oil; temp was 209.  idle when hot at red light was around 18 psi. thumper pulls hard, no pinging. still rich on map, counted 5 seconds 60 mph to 85 mph 5th gear roll on. still trying to load rings for breakin. mission acomplished on cam selection vs. pipes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OUTSTANDING News, Red.  I'm used to temps around 225-230 and idle oil pressure around 9-10 psi.  I think you done real good.

did i mention the rush mufflers sound wwwwwwaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy better than rineharts? not obnoxious at all. damned near killed thumper too-------was twisting throttle around 70 mph, rounding curve and a turf forklift was sitting in the road. told em(*&^%@#$% and @#$%Z)_(((((* but they didnt care.
