I noticed mine doing the same thing just before Sturgis.  I'm taking the bike to the dearler tomorrow with a list of warranty issues.   :-\

They lock the doors now when they see me pull into the parking lot.

if you spay this over the whole cover,  will it eventualy turn yellow?
and it didn't really say anything about chrome.

I've used it as a top coat on engines (automotive) after rebuild for years.  Also use it on bracketry and about anything else that needs a hard protective coating on the old cars.  Have never had it yellow in any way.  On the derby and timer covers I just sprayed over the painted area and feathered it out a bit from there.  A long time later now it still looks fine; and the paint is still there too.
