Haven't posted pics of the Bike in a while...
« on: August 20, 2007, 09:18:24 PM »

Well, I guess between being at the dealer for head gaskets and me riding, I haven't had a chance to post pics of the scoot.
I hope everyone is having a great time this Summer!!!

Tim

Good looking bike!
That pipe looks good also.
Where are you located now?

Nancy's son is in Cherry Point for a while!

Chip,
I am about 25 miles from Cherry Point, in Peletier.  Abby is there too, well she is in Iraq now,
but that is here duty station for the next 3 years.  I am stationed now at Camp Johnson,
right next to Lejeune in J-Ville. Please let me know if Nancy's son needs anything!  I remember my days
as a young Devil Dog(late 80s) in new places and very few folks that I knew.
When is your next trip out this way.  I have plenty of room if you need a place to stay and park the bike!!!
You take care,
Tim

Very nice looking, how do you like the d&d pipe? Did it help performance and how is the sound? Good luck with it and I see you took off the lowers, bet it helps cool a little. :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks alot,
I love the Fat Cat and I have the Standard Baffle in it, which is a bit loud and may
get the quiet baffle for when Abby rides with me.
My main reason for taking off the lowers was so the dealer wouldn't screw them up
when they did the head gaskets.  And now since the Carolinas have been so damn
hot this month, I have just left them off and the wind feels good and the bike runs
around 230-260 (oil dipstick gauge) in 95-100 degrees.

I am hoping to be down there in Sept AJ, I need to nail a date down and will pass
that on to you and we can hit it!!!

Man, the Fat Cat's looks great on your bike.  I just installed the Fat Cat with the quiet baffle on my bike plus a SERT/SE A/C a couple days  before driving from Houston to South Padre Island, Tx.  The sound is just right, barks hard under full throttle, nice and quiet while cruising.  The thing runs much cooler than before.
