A "unique" Goldwing
« on: August 25, 2007, 02:56:49 AM »

To each his own.  I can't even say this thing doesn't have an attitude and a style (of a type and all its own).  Not my cup of rice.  But I couldn't keep myself from looking it over either.

Saw this bike and trailer (and his pickup too, in the background) a few days ago.  The old gentleman riding it said he had something like $2400 worth of stickers throughout.  His version of chrome I guess.  Certainly glad that he enjoys it.  For those wondering what next for customization options, here you go:

WOW definitely unique...never know if it is dirty either...must save a ton on cleaning bills.

Not sure what I think of it but WOW seems appropriate... :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :confused5:

All I can think of is how much "Goof Off" I'd need to clean all that glue off... :confused5:

I didn't think it possible to make one of these ugly effing things look uglier, but I gotta hand it to this guy, he found a way.

And the French say we American's have no style - - - sheesh   :D

He didn't even spare the mufflers.

I suppose the paint would be pristine underneath if he ever got the notion to remove them.  Sorta like his version of 3M film. :nixweiss:

I bet it runs cool and doesn't leak.  He can probably spend his time riding instead of waiting for his bike to get fixed. :bananarock:

He probably doesn't have to worry about anyone stealing it.........although what color would the police put in their report?

As soon as he's through applying stickers, he should put about seven coats of clearcoat on the bike and trailer.
