I am thinking about getting molded stereo ear plugs and my question is will they work through the AUX jack on the front of our radios? Last night I pluged my daughters IPod ear plugs into the AUX port and no music. 2006 SE Ultra

The aux jack is for an input, not output

Mobe did a write-up on adding a headphone jack to his radio. See this thread:

Thanks for the info
Is it possible to convert/cut/splice the headset cable that came with the bike to a headphone jack. Keeping original plug 9 pin :nixweiss:and cut the other end and splice in a headphone jack. I have a spare cord that I don't mind cutting if anyone thinks it'll work. I spoke with the folks at J&M next year they will be comming out with an adapter
