So Santa, I've Been A Good Boy ...
« on: August 29, 2007, 07:19:32 PM »

... and in 2008 ... I gonna buy a new bike.

So, the dilemma.

I love ALL motorcycles.  I am a speed freak.  I love my sportbike.  I love Softtails.  I love the V-Rod ... but if I got a Harley, I want an air cooled one that sounds and feels like "that" (you know what I mean).

So, I could get a new 2008 Suzuki GSX-R 750 ... but I got an '04 ... and it's still doin good.  I just keep fixing it when I crash it.

I seriously in love with that new 2008 HD Rocker FXCW .. OMG ... that thing is beautiful.

I looked around the DC area ... there's like a 15 people waiting list everyplace.

Arghh.

It's soooo hard to pick one cause I love them all.

Yamaha Warrior would save me some dough.  I dunno ... I just dunno.

I can't afford a CVO, but a regular one that I could do my thing too over time, would work.

Decisions, decisions.

(oops, I posted in the wrong place again ... sorry)

Did you check out the new FatBob magic? I like that one best from this year's new models myself. Bump it up to 103, some cams, headwork...., etc. That can be one sweet bike! ;)

I talked to my dealer salesman yesterday about my new '08 SERK and I asked if they had any delivery date yet on the Rockers.  He said that they have been pushed out into October at this point.  He also said that they don't have one person on a waiting/deposit list for either of the Rockers.

I know that St. Louis is a long ways from home for you, but hey, fly on out to pick up your Rocker and ride it home.  Take in the BIG ARCH at the same time, have some fun.

But seriously, if you are interested, give Rick Blanner a call at Doc's Harley Davidson here in St. Louis @ 314-965-0166 and I'm sure he can help you out.  Why do I know that number by heart????

Good luck on the Rocker.

Just a side note, I've heard lots of people knocking the new Rocker, but I think they're great looking.  After taking away the Deuce, I think the Rocker has a new home.  If I didn't ride so much two up and wasn't sold on the SERK, the Rocker is exactly what I'd be looking for.  I really like the sheetmetal/frame being all the same color.

Again, good luck on your search.
