Video Ride Over Juniper Pass, Colorado to Echo Lake and Lunch
« on: August 31, 2007, 03:13:28 AM »

OK, It isn't a CVO, but it is a black and fast Harley.  The stablemate to the CVO.  I helmetcam record a four minute ride over a mountain pass on the way to a lunch destination.  An appropriate tune accompanies.  If interested in a four minute virtual ride, enjoy...

Yes a nice lunch break!  Thanks everyone.  Picked up the DX in Feb.  I had three H-D's (I know, woe is me :)), and consolidated to two... the CVO and DX.  They are a nice complement to each other.

The DX is an '07.  From the vid...

:2vrolijk_21:  The V is a perfect compliment to the RK.  I bet it's a blast to ride where you live.  Everybody needs at least two HD, one for travel and one for playing, and the V is the perfect bike, IMO.  Thanks for sharing the beautiful area you live in.

How is it laying face down on a curvy road looking away from traffic to get such a great shot.  Did you leave a wet spot? :cherry:

I love the video and the editing....

Hey thanks everyone!  A fantastic ride.  And Jim... Ha!  Yes, it does look like I waited for the traffic to clear then laid down on the pavement.  Really, what helped was a slight bank to the pavement and a small ditch on the other side of the road.  And I did have to squat a little when taking the pic.  ::)

No Thunder in the Rockies this weekend.  Preparing to take the fam to the State Fair today -- Haven't been in years.  Will have a bride ride on Monday (It's our wedding anniversary weekend  :-*)

If you go let me know what you think.  I passed through it two years ago -- first year.
