Have a new ride sitting in my driveway. I got rid of two vehicles, '04 Nissan Titan LE 4x4 crewcab and a '06 Chevy Impala LT. I will miss the kick butt audio in the Titan though. Now I have to clear out my bikes and rearrange them to get the car in the garage...
2013 Buick Verano. This is a compact car, but Buick is calling it a luxury compact. I have to admit that it does have a great ride, the quietest car I've ridden in and very very nice interior. It only has the 2.4L Ecotec, but it has enough umph to get out and move if it has to. I spen three hours in it in the driveway this weekend trying to figure out all the electronic stuff like Buick's Intellilink system. It streams Pandora or any of the my iPhone audio via Bluetooth. It has the Nav system and with the XM Nav/Traffic plan, it gives me a lot of information that I use my iPhone for now. I'm sure that to most of you guys this is not new, but it's taking me some time to get around in all the different apps. I do like the myBuick app that lets me start the car from anywhere in North America, see how much gas I have in the tank and lets me see where my car is if I'm not in it. I told my wife that she'll have to take her car to see her boyfriend when I'm out of town working. She said that would not be a problem, she'd remember.....
