Custom S/S Rack, check the pics.
« on: September 04, 2007, 01:31:12 AM »

I`ve posted some pics of the new S/Steel rack that I had made. I waited for a year thinking that HD would make a detachable solo rack for the 200 rear s/tail, but no the lazy buggers didn`t. So I had to make one.
Just been away to Bike Week at the Gold Coast, with a heavy pack on the rack, it went well.

Hey there bud, I bought this from my stealer for my quick release back rest. It was not
made for a quick release but all I had to do was use one  small flat washer per bolt.
Works super, rode from Va. to Deals Gap with the large HD bag, with no problems.
You did a nice job on yours tho.

Is the heavy dresser bag resting on your fender?  At least a rack would prevent any potential scratches.  I love the fatboy colors.  How about a color matched trailer?

No, it slips over my backrest, and sits on the passenger pad of the corbin gunfighter, I also removed the hard plastic divider from the tour pack and it sits much nicer on the rear pillion and holds twice as much.

chit mate, you would need an aircraft warning beacon on top of that lot.
She looks like a mobile block of flats!
You must go on some bloody long hauls to need that much stuff!
Good on ya for finding a way to carry it all though.
