Intel sources are speculating that his "V-twin" is a actually a "stealth" V-twin & secretly a jet turbine disguised as a V-twin.

Also, intel speculates that this bike has been ready for months, but Howie has kept it under wraps while he takes pilot lessons.

When he flies rides it, will it use gasoline or jet fuel?

"top of the world" phrase  and his pig with wings avatar are clues as to how this intel was developed

I wish that were the case iski. But if you read the question under my Avatar, you'll see why the Flying Pig now!!! :o ;)

Howie, good things come to those who wait.  So your bike oughta be damn good!

I saw Ralph the Diving pig a few times.  He didn't fly, but he was a darn good diver.

This isn't Ralph though:

Yeah, waiting's been the story of my life since I've owned HD's famous 110" POS!!! Well my parts shipped today. Let's see what's in store for me now. They got a chance to fix their screwup now. And even did more than I asked to try to cover their asses! We asked them not to touch the cylinders again, and my builder would fit the pistons properly. They wouldn't even give me the specs. I had to get that from CP Pistons myself! Now they tell me they fitted the pistons! Well you know God damned well we're gonna check EVERYTHING!!! And if I have to go 5 over now, and get another new set of pistons, I'll do what I have to. All I can say to ya'll that are looking for fixes...BE VERY CAREFUL DOING ANYTHING MAIL ORDER!!! I don't care who you're dealing with. Have your engine builder get all your parts and do all your work. The out-of-town suppliers don't really care and can point fingers somewhere else if there's a problem. DON'T GET STUCK IN THE MIDDLE!!! Find a reputable builder, and let him do the whole job. The help we get here is great, but unless you can design and build you own engine, leave it to a pro. The pro that's building it and standing behind it!!! ;)

And that's exactly why I used the "Tman" combinations.
Tried and tested even with the 110 motor.
His shop is 67 miles from me and if needed no more than a phone call away.
As I have said, it's all about the combination.
The right combination and the right builder and your free to ride your machine.

Have not rebuilt a Harley - just lowly dirt bikes from long ago & far away.  Subject is of interest to me since I plan on keeping my HDs for a long time & that will eventually involve engine rebuilds.  Reputable builder - similar to a home - better off getting someone really good & letting them source it as well as build it.  Good info to know - thanks.

Shipment arrived today. Boxes are still unopened at Vern's shop. He's out today. I just got home from York. I'm gonna try to get there tomorrow, but probably can't get there til Sat. It's in Vern's hands now! ;)

Not going to jinx anything by saying "it's about time" and assuming it's all ok.  Say good words when you know it's all there, undamaged and correct.  Than I'll dance a jig for you.
