105th delivery
« on: September 04, 2007, 06:50:08 PM »

Has anyone taken delivery of a 105th SEUC copper and black onyx yet.  I have deposits at 2 dealers and they still can't give me a delivery date.  They say production problems,  or so the MOCO tells them.

Well, our dealers says planned ship date 9/11/07, so we'll see.  My wife and I are renting a car one way and driving about 200 miles to pick it up here in California.  We are real excited about this bike.  We just sold our 2 older Harley's and we're putting the money towards our first CVO Ultra.  We had a RK and Ultra and weren't getting much use of the Road King (we ride two up), so we are consolidating into one bike.  This Anniversary sure looks like its going to be a beauty - can't wait!

Thank you!  I know we are (I would imagine rays1951 is also stoked!), been trying to buy one here in California for the past 2 years and there have always been 2 common road blocks:

1. They were either sold out or long wait lists(we were too late getting in an order and we can't buy out of state due to the emissions)

-or-

2. California dealers were marking them up to the moon and I just couldn't justify paying 3-5K over, so I'd say "I'll wait 'til next year".

Thanks for the tip, normally I would be all over that dealer to get the bike now, problem is we're in the People's Republic of Karlifornia where the emissions laws are so strict we have a "special" bike just for us.  Aren't we lucky?

The closest thing I have to seeing the bike is the screen saver off of the HD website  :nixweiss:

I'm in the detroit area.  Most dealers are at msrp but the copper and black CVO Ultra aren't here yet.  I would love to see it up close!!

I have seen at least 4 in dealers in Florida most around 1000 to 2000 over msrp. The real joke was Daytona Harley where the fat man is asking 50,000 for his. Someone will have to be out of there mind to pay that for a bike.

I got mine at Crystal River Fl. on Oct. 10 (at msrp) worth waiting for, I didn't think anything could replace my 06 Street Glide, but this is the most enjoyable bike I have ever had, a few minor problems, but nothing major at this point.  3600miles so far.

I put a down payment on one the dealer already had coming in on 17 September.  Expected delivery date was 11 October.  I left 11 November for 5 weeks and of course the bike came in while I was away.  I picked it up yesterday even though it was 40 F which is a little on the cool side for me.

So I can confirm they are still making them and sending them out, a bit slower than expected.

My gas tank has a paint flaw (new one already ordered), and the electric heated hand grips are a bit anemic even on the highest setting.  The seat will roast chestnuts if you keep it on the highest setting for too long!
