CVO Born on Date

This has probably been covered but I did a search and could not find what I was looking for.  I looked in my owners manual and found what the VIN number represents but I would like to know what date my bike was built.  Is there a way to find this out from a casting stamp or some other method?

Sorry if this has already been addressed but I couldn't locate it.

It's on your build sheet that came with the bike. Did you get that when you picked it up? The dealer can get it from the factory using your VIN. They might even have a copy of the build sheet in their files.

On mine, it's stamped on the label above the VIN #  02-06   On the left side of the neck.

There is a stamp on the frame, under the right side cover, down by the lower gromet. I'm not sure exactly what that date is, but I assume it is when the frame was made.

I don't know if you can find out when the motor was built. That seems to be the most problematic component on the bikes. I guess its real easy for a 'Wednesday' bike to get a 'Monday' motor and vice versa.

Thank you for the replies.  I didn't think to ask for a build sheet and they did not offer one.  I will contact my salesman and get a copy of it.
