Skyhook,

Personally I would not consider boring yours out and just consider looking at a larger throttlebody all together.   It would not be just for the throttle body size, but also that you will obtain a larger intake as well more volume for the motor.

Some things you may want to consider in 07 they gave us 46mm on the 110's then in 08 they gave the public 50mm and these arent even high performance motors so to speak.   Then if you look in the 08 screaming eagle catalog for performance they are showing a 58mm throttlebody.    It is telling you even if you got 50mm out of yours by boring it out you would still be stuck with a small intake.   This is just my take on it, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

skyhook----------who is doing your build? he should have answers to all your questions. like proper squish, matched headwork per cam choice, fuel flow, velocities, tuning capabilities, etc:

Gonna go with Al Taylor.  He ported the heads on the wife's dyna and it turned out good.  He's got a full machine shop, does all the wrenching, sleeving, boring, tuning, porting etc.  Nothing has to be shipped, one man is accountable for the whole build.
