Another of those times when someone who started a thread didn't like what he or she had done and deleted the first post.  That's an improvement in the new site software.

I was kinda hoping it was an alien abduction.  Your explanation rules that out.  If aliens are abducting the 100's (thousands?) of newbies & others who don't post or remove their posts, Neal might be asked to give an interview on NPR or something.  ;)

If you're starting the rumor then I'm officially beginning the conspiracy by accepting the rumor and adding to it.  Last week, when I was "gone," it wasn't really what everyone thought it was.  Instead it was a Martian!!
