   Has anyone seen a anniversary edition of the new scoot in the Crystal Copper and Black Onyx?  Mine was to be shipped on 9/9/2007 and it has been backed up to 9/28/2007.  My buddy Bob has one on order at another dealer and it is also to be shipped on 9/28. Just wondering if anyone has seen one? We have had both other colors in the Cleveland market so far and the bikes look great.

Same situation in California.  Mine was to go on 9/11 and has not shipped.  I have not seen one yet.

A dealer that is a friend of mine had seen one, I guess at the dealer show, and said the copper was a different color than the standard anniversary copper.  He said it was a brassier copper, you guys probably already knew that.  I've not seen one either.

I should know in about 30 minutes the dealer is calling me back after he checks.  My bet is that is was pushed back. I hope not, but we'll see...

Bob,  Our dealer said the same thing.  Liked the color at the dealer meeting, and that indeed it was different the standard anniversary coper on the production bikes (thank god). Our dealer is loaded with copper bikes and they are sure going to date the model year. Also, I'm told that the gold stripe looks like "Gold leaf". I wonder if it is actual gold, you would think for the price they charge it would be! LOL It looks like the MOCO is holding back on shipping the anniversary ones, I hoe for a good reason!

I just got off the phone with one of the owners of Black Hills HD.  According to his computer, my bike was SUPPOSED to be shipped today.  However, he was in a meeting and needed to check HD.net to see what the real story is.  He said I should contact him next week.  I will be in Estes Park, CO on the '07 Ultra they are letting me use 'til by bike comes in.  -Might as well get some use out of it, right?  -If there is another delay-(there have already been two) Maybe I'll let them sit on the bike until spring!  Otherwise I'll have about six months of the damn thing sitting in my garage watching my warranty burn up.  -Remember, why pay MSRP when you can pay- Retail PLUS!!

I know the silver stripe on my 05 looks like silver leaf so maybe they did use gold leaf for the stripe on the 08, the would look awesome I'm sure.

Saw one in Sturgis at the civic center.  Wouldn't mind having one.  Looks way better than the regular anniversary colors.  I think is the much thicker gold stripe that gives it a thumbs up for my taste.  Let's Roll

Hello from Estes Park, Colorado!  Another dissapointment with the new bike.  -Imagine that!!
I talked to one of the owners of Black Hills HD this past Monday.  He checked in with the MoCo and called me back with the info that there has been a general production delay of 8 days on all bikes.  This would put the shipment of my bike from 9/14 to 9/22.  I think it also ends up being delayed by the weekend.  I wonder what the hell is up with all the delays?  I only hope they're delayed by fixing problems, but when I'm told it's a general delay on all bikes, I think it's either problems with labor or suppliers.  I was SUPPOSED to have the bike right after the Sturgis Rally and this is the third delay.  The delay periods are getting smaller, so maybe this time we'll start getting out bikes!  -Retail- PLUS!
