Oh my Elvis, that looks absolutely awesome on your bike. I know my husband has been very interested in this seat.  That pic will probably push him over the edge for sure now.  Looks very very good.  Well Done.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Elvis, I LOVE that Corbin seat, Man!  You did good with the flames and the whole deal.  Goes really well w/ the bike.  I had Corbin do me a custom seat for my Softtail and I've always loved it.  May have to go the way you did, it's the best I've seen so far.  Glad to hear it's comfortable for the all day hauls.  Two questions......Did it sit you any farther back from the bars?   ..........and Does it raise or lower you on the bike?   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Thank you, Mrs. We...

I am still waiting on the chrome backrest but betting that works well.  Will post another pic when I get it.

Hey SpyD...
Thanks, think it worked out well.
Corbin sits me down and back...that is what I wanted as the footboards/footrests have always seemed a little cramped after the Road King...not any more.

Elvis, the seat is really nice looking on your bike.  Nicely done  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Another question while your fielding them though.  What holds it down in the rear?

Elvis, seat looks great. Quick question. Do you have to remove the stock rider backrest bracket that sits on the fender or does it need to be removed. Just wondered. Thanks.

I am taking the Fifth as I am married.

Seriously tho, Corbin has a new slick mounting system that uses a lock with a key and no visible screw.

elvis

So by the time the Elvis/MFG mounting system is fully implemented the seat is held down by gravity, a wife's bottom and a lock and key.  I am not even going to ask about where the lock and key goes............. [smiley=shocked2.gif]

Elvis,

Damn sweet looking seat!  Didn't care for the shape too much in the plain stitching but it looks awesome with the custom touch!  Now I love it. Thanks for sharing.

ELVIS,

ThE REAL QUESTION IS, WHETHER OR NOT YOU GOT THE BOOTS TO MATCH THE SEAT.

Which brings to mind.......if you named your bike Molly.

Fee, fee, fi, fi, fo-fo, fum
Look at Elvis now, here he comes
Wearin' his helmet and memphis shades to match
He's got alligator boots and the alligator chaps
Wearin' dome top pistons  and chrome-moly rings
He's got chrome on his fingers, now, and everything
He's the devil with the blue dresser, blue dresser, blue dresser,
Devil with the blue dresser on
Devil with the blue dresser, blue dresser, blue dresser,
Devil with the blue dresser on
Wearin' his perfume, Harley SYN 3
Got to be the finest biker 'ever could be
He walks with a limp, catches everybody's eye
He's got such good lovin' that they can't say goodbye
Not too skinny, he's not too fat
He's a real humdinger and they like it like that
He's the devil with the blue dresser, blue dresser, blue dresser,
Devil with the blue dresser on
Devil with the blue dresser, blue dresser, blue dresser,
Devil with the blue dresser on

       Good golly, Miss Molly
       You sure like to roll
       Good golly, Miss Molly
       You sure like to roll
       While you're rockin' and rollin'
          Gotta pay another toll
From the early, early mornin' 'til the early, early nights
See Miss Molly rockin' from the Cars with Blue Lights
       Good golly, Miss Molly
       You sure like to roll
       While you're rockin' and rollin'
           Gotta pay another toll

Elvis, that stitch pattern looks similar to the seat that Corbin made for me.......except I had them double stitch in blue thread, the flames pattern (follow the link to a slide show of the seat being made)...........
