Interesting.  There are a few of us with earlier ship dates on the Anni edition that have been delayed.  Good luck and be sure to post some photos when it lands!

:( After being told the bike had shipped... I called today and asked for a VIN and then the dealer recanted....  Was told 30 min ago it is still in production....

I am in the same boat as all the rest of the Anniversay buyers....  Just wish the dealership would of been up front instead of telling me all last week it was on the truck.  Now it is just wait....

We are living parallel CVO lives.  8)  I am not sure the dealer meant to mislead, it is more that MoCo leaves everyone in limbo.  Trust me, it will be worth the wait.  I had the chance to get one today (frost/white combo) at MSRP and passed it up.  Repeat to oneself: "I will be patient and wait for the bike I REALLY want, once again,  will be patient and wait for the bike I REALLY want ...etc.  :D

I quess we're all in the same boat.  I've got deposits at 2 dealers for the Anniv. ed. and they tell me closer to the end of the year for delivery.  I'm waiting to see the crystal copper and black colors.  I hope it looks better than the copper top bikes I see now!

I just got off the phone with my dealer.  ANOTHER delay!  Hard to believe  ???  Now I was told a ship date the first week in October.  This is the 4th delay!  I told one of the owners of the dealership about all the problems that people on this website have been experiencing with their 110s.  He said he didn't believe it!  He said that during the Sturgis Rally, they didn't have one bike in with problems with their 110s!  The denial of the MoCo for problems, and the  production delays without communication are really too much!!  In all the many years I've been riding Harleys (this will be my 13th new HD) I've never heard about so many problems.   The MoCo has been making the same basic
V-twin motor for how long now?  At the prices they charge for these CVOs, they should be damn near perfect!

They should be damn near perfect -- and if they're not, they should admit it and extend whatever courtesy is necessary, such as warranties, loaner bikes, etc.  They don't and it is apparent that customer service is not one of their priorities.

Congrats to you Notah on the new bike coming!

:( Just got off the phone with the dealership.  He was told this morning by the factory that my bike has not even started production yet.  Even though the computer now shows "In Production".  "In Production" means it has been scheduled but may not of actually started yet  .  He was told mine has been scheduled and will actually enter the production line the 2nd week of October.   :o We will wait and see.... At least I have my 05 Ultra to ride until it gets here.

So far, what I have learned in the process is that the VIN is the key.  Once a VIN is entered, a bike exists that can be shipped.  Your timing sounds about right, but you'll be more solid on the arrival date when you have a VIN.

:confused5:  Stopped by the dealer today and they got online and checked if indeed my bike shipped on Tuesday. Nonetheless, the bike still shows a ship date of 9/25 but it has not shipped.  Dealer told me that once it is shipped he gets a ship notification and a VIN number, he has not received either! He also said that several of his bikes are arriving late and he just got his first Fat Bob and did not get his Rocker that was due in two weeks ago. They now tell him that his first Rocker will arrive in December.

I had a 07 UCSE ordered for all most a year, It finally came in the day the 08's came out, I talked with my dealer that same day about a 08 105th anni. he checked with Harley and they told him that he had an 08 coming in two weeks, i told my dealer if he could sell my 07 UCSE that I would wait two more weeks for the 08 anni bike. Guess What! They sold my 07 that I had waited all most a year for and they were not getting the 08 anni. bike, and did not know even if they were getting one.

I was left out in left field with out SE. Thats my luck, my dealer was just dumbfounded about what happened.

I did find a 07 UCSE Black & Orange at a dealer in western Arkansas two weeks later and bought it below MSRP. So the moral to this story is good things happen to those who waits. Good Luck with getting yours and ride safe.

Dealer called Friday morning..  He had a VIN for me, said the bike shipped on Thu 10/4.  Not going to get real excited until I see it in the garage.....  What sucks is I will be out of town from 10/12 until 10/26...  If it arrives early this week I will be able to pick it up.. if not will not be able to pick it up until 10/27
