The pain level and tolerance of it of any situation depends entirely on which side you are on during the administration of the pain.

I am very very late coming to read the story, so now that it is solved it is humorous. My mind though tells me that for you, going through this event, the humor was only your minds way of sharing a sad, seemingly ridiculous story with your friends.  

I am very sorry you had to endure, I am though glad you shared.  I am most happy that it is solved.

Geez bud,  I wish I would have seen this earlier...   I could have loaned you my military bearing.  (It's kinda shrunk up ove rthe years, and looks to be about the right size now.
