Mom
« on: September 19, 2007, 10:23:07 AM »

Just wanted to express my thanks to everybody's thoughts recently.  Unfortunately, I'm just waiting for her to pass.  She's been through hell this year, and now life just won't let her go.  I'll be out of pocket for the nezt few days, helping my son get ready to deploy again  and hopefully mom's funeral.  Thanks again for everybody's thoughts.

John,  Jamey and I want you to know that you and Debi have been in our thoughts and prayers.  Hang in there.  Hope to see you both on the road again next year, somewhere.

John,

Sorry to hear about your mom.  That has to be tough.  We went through a similar situation several years back with my grandmother.....sometimes death can come as a blessing.

This has to be a very stressful time for you, with your son shipping out also.

Prayers going up for you and your family.

BTW, good to find another Okie on the site.  I live out in Harrah, but my office is in SW OKC (89th & Western).  We will have to meet up and take a ride sometime.

John,

As someone who has lost both parents I can relate to your grief in some way.  What I can tell you is this...she is no longer in any pain and is in a place that only pleasure will come her way.

All the best.

A big thanks to everybody's kind words and thoughts.  Mom passed away last Saturday, with her funeral being this Saturday.  At least I was able to spend some time with her before she went.  I know she appreciated it.  Fortunately my brother is an attorney, so he's been handling all the "crap".
Thanks again to everybody!!

John, I'm sorry about your Mom. Whenever I hear about someone losing their Mom it makes me sad, I will always remember how much it hurt losing mine. She will always be with you though. Remember the good times.
