Wait.  If you don't, the first time you see one of the anniversary bikes rolling down the highway you'll be kicking yourself in the azz.  Be patient and wait for the bike that is already in the schedule for The Motor Company to build specifically for YOU! :2vrolijk_21:

Taking your advice, I think your right.  Reading the forum is good therapy in the meantime and even better after you have the bike ... ;D

Don't second guess yourself - you will be happier with the bike that reached out and grabbed you in the first place. I am waiting on a Inferno Orange CVO Springer, took a look at a black one just to see how it felt and sat on it, really scoped it out and think the black one is a really nice looking bike, heck I even put a poll on the forum regarding colors but I'm sticking it out and waiting on the Inferno Orange color that grabbed me in the first place. I hope that you get your bike soon!

I am waiting on a Inferno Orange CVO Springer

Guilty,
There is an Inferno Orange SE Softail Springer setting on the dealers floor at Harley World in OKC.  The price tag was $27K.  I could pick you up at the airport, if you want to fly to OKC???

Wait for the one that you really want.......or you'll regreat it down the road.  A lesson that I've had to learn more than once cause I'm a knuckle head.

I was told last week (by a friend of twenty plus years that has a dealership) that the delay on delivery is due to the Brembo brakes manufacturer regarding the ABS system.  That's a clean looking set up.  He was telling me about a demonstration that they did at the dealers show, that involved water, sand, gravel and then all of them mixed up.  Said that he was very impressed with what he saw and that in his opinion the wait is well worth it.

I agree with 103, wait for the one you wanted and after you get it you will be glad you did. I have been tempted twice while waiting and both times I waited and glad I did. Your patience now will be rewarded in the end. Good Luck

Everytime I buy my second choice it costs me thousands of hard earned dollars. Wait for your first choice. Sounds stupid to some people but when you walk to your new bike it's a feeling that has to be right, or you'll trade it at the 1000 mile service. Then again it just could be me. :apple:

Do what everyone else has stated and wait.  I have always been happier with a purchase when I got what I wanted and not what the salesman wanted to sell me in stock.

Read what most everyone posts on this sight about all the issues of the 110's and rethink your decision on buying one!! :confused5: :confused5:

Why would you want to spend close to $40,000 on something that has a 99.9% chance of having many issues?  :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

It's alot of $$$$ to chance!! Who knows, maybe you will get lucky, but from the sounds of it, you might have a better chance of winning the lottery!! ??? ???

                                            Good Luck,

Ooh, low blow there Mikey!

But we're all just loaded here, and have nothing better to do with our $. And we're just gluttons for punishment too!

Actually, the motor's a good motor with QC issues. The bike itself is fantastic, and can't be matched by any standard models! Oops, you got a standard model. Sorry! ::)

I hope you're right about that. It's still a new HD. I wouldn't go testing the chopper gods with words like that. And BTW, rich I'm not! I'll do what I have to do to this thing til it's just what I want. I'm a working man just like yourself, with a deep passion for this chit. That's all. No more, no less! ;)

And come on Mike, this is a CVO site after all. Lighten up man! ;D

You could be right.  But I look at this way.  I have never owned a CVO bike and have always wanted one.  I sold off two bikes to pay for this one.  My wife and I love Ultra Classics.  We've looked and test rode several other brands and always come back to HD.  We know what to expect and we may have some issues, and we're willing to accept it for what it is.  It's what we like and enjoy.  We think these CVO Ultra's are like artwork.  It's not about the money, it's about buying what you like and your expectations going into the purchase.

Hoist,

I'm not picking on the CVO bikes, not at all, I actually like the older ones with the 103's, they didn't have any issues!! I'm just sad that all these guys who are CVO fans buy the new bikes with the 110's because they like them and then they have issues!! I just don't like to see that, thats all!!

I see these guys who bring home their new bike and then they have to bring it back in to the dealer, thats just not cool, you know!! I know I wouldn't be happy!!

It's not picking on the CVO bikes, it's hoping to not see that happen anymore, right! :2vrolijk_21:

                               I still think your loaded!! :o :o
