I didn't see a part number for the pistons for the 110. I guess Wes can get them made and send to me when I order the cams and head work. Where did you guys get the cylinders? Can I get everything I need to do the top end from cycle rama?

There is a couple ways to go about this...  You can work with a builder and have the builder supply everything (which is what Howie and I did with Cycle Rama), or you can work with a builder and have the builder supply the components that need to be matched to one another to create the "package" (like cams, heads, gaskets) and then source the remaining components youself (like lifters, rocker arms, pushrods, pistons, ect).  An advantage to sourcing everything thru the builder is you are likely getting the parts at the builders discount, and you are certain everything will work together -  no confusion about exactly what the builder recommended vs. exactly what you end up buying.

I my case, I had Wes supply everything.  I had him fit the pistons to the cylinders, fit the rings to the cylinders and pistons, insure piston skirt clearances, ect.  I double checked everything during assembly and it all fit as expected.  Had there been any fitment problems, I would have only had one phone call to make to resolve the problem.  But, like I said, there were no problems at all.

Whether you are only trying to resolve the oil leak issue, or whether you are also trying to gain performance, it is not necessary to go to the lengths Howie and I did.  We replaced everything.  It was not completely necessary that we replace the rocker boxes, or lifters, or rocker arms - or even pistons for that matter.  But, I think we had the same goal in mind - added performance and our best possible chance at bulletproof reliability.

Scott,
When I went with the 92T and easy ramp, at first I used the easy spring as well and I got clutch slippage.  Depending on your torque, I would consider the 84T and AIM's spring and ramp to provide a lighter clutch pull.

I think I could of gone in with a stock TC88 spring and been okay, the easy pull spring was too light.

Regards,
NC

Here is the 92T installed....

Was the the ez pull? Yea their easy to install, on the site they show the installation thru the derby cover hole. That's if you not doing clutch plates and stuff like that. When you get a chance to ride, you have to let us know how your total package came out!

Scott

You should consider the clear derby cover.
It's very cool!
It's fun to be sitting at a light and look over and see someone watch the VP spinning!

And a picture of my helper, 14 month old Rocky, now fully recovered from his surgery at UW Wisconsin Vet. Hospital to put his hip back together (he took a very optimistic leap off a retaining wall on our property in pursuit of a critter of some sort.  Fortunately, his joints are genetically sound, so a bit of hardware was all he required to hold the pieces together while they healed....)
