MedjetAssist motorcycle program?
« on: September 24, 2007, 02:07:59 PM »

I was talking to Geezerglide in Nelson about a trip he made with some folks down to Baja Cali.   He said one of the guys had a bad spill and luckily he had this insurance and flew him back stateside to a good hospital.

Seems like it would be a good deal if nothing else but to get your scoot shipped back to your dealer/home.

What about a group discount?

You know, you just never know what can happen on a trip. And a free trip home for the scoot, could be invaluable during a time of stress like getting hurt/sick on a trip.  When my bike broke down in Nelson, I'd never could have guessed how much hassle it was to find a way to get the bike from Canada to the US, let alone the whole way across the country too.  Insurance is just that.  Thanks Mark.

Here's their reply...

The Motorcycle Owner’s Protection Plan is actually the same cost as the annual membership(s); $225/individual or $350/family. The Motorcycle benefit is just an extra perk for the annual plan. The group rates will vary pending on how many of annual memberships you are looking to enroll. The minimum is 3 annual memberships to be eligible for a group plan.

Ernie, can you get the price breaks depending on how many sign up?  I mean what's the price if it's ten of us?  15?  20? etc. etc.  That might be real motivating to get more to sign up if it's significantly different in price.  Especially since we seem to have a large group of long haul riders on this site......and every year there's GTGs all over the country.  Definately something I'm interested in.
