Wouldn't it be about the same as the XM?  A satellite antenna under the fairing (first choice) on top  of your front fairing if the reception is not good and then you just have to hide the radio, we put our in a fairing pocket, but I've seen some stuck to the top of the fairing itself, in the pocket in the lower fairing, power attained from the back of the cig lighter in the fairing, again.

Sirius makes a motorcycle mounting kit for the Sportster 3 and and a couple others.  DC power adapter, antenna with a bracket that mounts with the radio, short cable, made to mount around the handlebars or on the two bolts that hold the left hand swicth assembly together.  Very nice, compact mounting kit.

I have it on my 06 flhtcuse, yes it came with the XM but XM doesn't do NFL football so my wife has her Sirius now, me I just listen to Willie's Place on XM13, no other channel necessary.

I will take a pic and post it in the next couple days.

Here is a link for it with a good price   http://www.nulime.com/Motorcycle-Installation-Kit/p202142
