That crash looked horrible.  I wasn't sure he'd be alive when they got him out of the car.

By the way, it's one month rehab before getting into the car...

Quote from the article...
"he vows to move forward. He has a lot of physical therapy in front of him, but he hopes to race again in one month"

Those Force Boys are crazy mofo's. Have known Johns brother Louie "Diesel Force since 1999 he lives here in the bay area, and use to be a customer of where I work.Have not seen him since he went back to work for John a couple years ago. He's just like his brother and was the one who got John into drag racing. Many stories been told.  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks for the link Jimp, was wondering how he’s doing. After reading the news on the Internet we watched the tape delay of the race to see the crash just to see how bad john was. Boy after loosing Eric and then after Ashley’s crash John sure has been through an awful lot, everyone knows how passionate John gets but these days he seems much more emotional. I remember seeing his interview just a couple weeks ago where he is doing everything he can to make the cars safer for everyone. He even made the statement that when he figures this all out he is giving all the data and information free of charge to all his fellow racers, yes even his competitors.

When me and my wife used to go to the US-Nationals every year we met John at his first showing, he was passing out Jolly Ranchers. I think he was driving a Black funny car with Brute Faberge as the main sponsor and Jolly Rancher as an associate.  I could be wrong about the car color but I still remember shaking his hand, he was a lot smaller then, quieter and not as hyper.

How much of a fan am I of John Force ?

When I say " may the Force be with you "  I ain't talkin Star Wars

Whatever he isn't, he's hands down the best Drag Racer any of us will ever see

And he's a downright nutcase too which makes him even better in my book

Thank God he's ok

This I'll answer, because I happen to agree 100% with Brian on this! He's the best and brings so much to the sport. His personality has singlehandedly brought NHRA into the spotlight these days. Even gave him his own TV show. Over all the years and all the really great Drag Racers, I like Force the best! I'm really glad he's OK too! :2vrolijk_21:
