First time HD owner from SoCal

Greetings.  I'm Russ from Castaic, California.  I've ridden dirt bikes and dual sports for about 20 years, and still will ride them with my teenage boys until they're grown and gone.  I've wanted a true road bike for about 5 years, and my better half always said she'd ride 2 up if I ever got a bike with a decent (non dirtbike) seat.  In MHO the '08 Springer has everything I've wanted in a road bike, so after saving up and drooling over each new model year, I finally pulled the trigger on an '08 FXSTSSE2 (black diamond with smoke candy flames).  I'm soooo glad I did, as it is truly a pleasure to ride and is a great stress reliever/head clearer after a long day or week at work.  As for that backseat, I swapped it for sundowner and medium backrest so my wife is also enjoying the ride.
