Hello, another CVO NEWBIE
« on: February 26, 2005, 01:13:07 AM »

Hello, I'm Nite-Al from eastern NC

A friend told me about this site and wow what a great site. I took delivery on My 2005 Red FLHTCSE2 on 12/17/05 and have managed to log about 2700 miles ao far, great bike. My previous Harley was a 1997 FLHTC and I have logged 107,000 miles on it with no engine work and it still runs great. Really look forward to receiving and sharing ideas with everyone.

RIDE SAFE,
NITE-AL [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Nice to have you here.  You'll find some of the greatest guys (and gals) around on this site.  Outstanding tech info from people who have actual experience with the issues they're dealing with.

Welcome to the site, Nite-Al.  Hopefully your new bike performs and lasts as long as your 97.  Wow, that's alot of miles. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Welcome Nite-Al, I heard somewhere around here that the red ones went faster too, and that they looked cooler, their tires last longer, the brakes stop shorter and the seats are more comfortable.  MMMMM, strange how only a color could do that, isn't it?

You will enjoy it here. Honest.  [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

[smiley=laugh.gif]Wellcome Nite-Al, I'm another newbie from central Pa.  I had a 1997 ultra, I was trying get to the 100K when Its heart gave out. [smiley=furious.gif]  I was riding it like it was a Screamn Eagle.  It eas traded for a punkin SEEG.  I think we both found the right bike for the job.  Enjoy your new ride! [smiley=biggthumpup.gif]

Welcome Nite-AL!  Hope to see you in the Valley!  I'd venture to say your butt had the button impressions on it from that Pillow Seat, after logging 100,000 miles on your Ultra!  My question is, what are your likes and dislikes of the Ultra and your new SEEG, excluding the obvious gulf fixed between the EVO and the Twin-Cam?  Just curious--HUBBARD
