No personal experience, but a lot of Vrod owners, over on the Vrod forum, use Heavycycles stuff and have nothing but good things to say.

I installed the Custom Dynamics LED in my stock tailight assembly and like it a lot.  Nice and bright, even with the Sun shining on it.

I installed the new tail piece from  H-D that has the LED light in it.  Chrome and lowers the rear fender.  Looks awesome.       Scot

I actually went for the tri-feca. I installed the Heavy Cycle tail light, the custom dynamics custom LED bar, and the HD chrome lower fender tip light. I went w/ the Heavy Cycle as it it is the brightest LED tail light that I could find. On my previous bike (Road King Classic) I had the Kuryakyn LED tail light w/ the pulse module. It worked very well but the heavy cycle unit is substantially brighter. The one draw back of the Heavy Cycle is that it is fairly pricey and did take a while to get shipped since they were in the middle of switching LED designs when I ordered it. Installation is literally 5 minutes as it is a direct replacement of the stock unit.

Below are a couple of pics of just the running lights. I did not have anyone around to show the brake lights but I can assure you it is very bright and anything that wakes a cager up I am in favor of.
