JUST GOT MY VIN################# TODAY......

Copper/Black CVO:
I put $1,000.00 down on July 12th for my SERK Annie. From the first indication of a ship date, the date has been in November. It's bounced around from the 7th to the 9th and now back to the 8th.
Still no VIN,,,, but I hope to have one in a week or so. Now that you all are getting yours I feel that there
IS a light at the end of the tunnel.
I've been down from late June on my old '76 FLH with a major rattle. I just got my crank back rebuilt and cases put together. The rear rod primary bearing was shot and took out the crank pin big time. The pistons had .005" to .007" slop to go with the rod rattle.
I've now got another $1,000.00 into the motor but it should be good to go for quite some time now. I'll have it back on the road this weekend and I'm looking forward to doing some riding again. I've been fortunate in that my buddy I bought the bike from has purchased a springer chopper with a RevTec Xotic Knuckle and 6spd. It's a blast to ride, when he lets me. Actually we've been doing some local shows and he lets me ride his '03 SE Duece just to taunt me a bit.
While my wife and I were in Hawaii this August I rented a '07 96" EG for two days. This was my choice to see how the RK EG frame handles. It was a lot lighter in the front end than my old FLH. I think with the forks being mounted behind the spindle centerline takes some the heaviness out of it. But boy, did that 5th gear ever make some noise. And 6th gear was useless on the roads there.
So am I excited to get my new SERK, you betcha, big time. I know, pictures, pictures, pictures, but Quint's is just like mine's going to be so ditto on Quint's pictures.
Good luck on your new bike, enjoy....
