If I remember correctly, neither does Harley. The prep is a dealer absorbed item, and most dealers absorb it by passing it on to the consumer.

My dealer charged me freight only, and gave me the above reason.

My dealer puts the pigtails on all the new bikes as part of their dealer prep, which the customer absorbs the costs for. Which is quite common for all the HD dealerships around here. $:-\$

my dealer fits them when preped but had to replace mine and had same assel

I didnt like the pigtail thingy so I fitted a plug to make it simple!
