Cheri,

Thanks for calling and posting the updates...

I have a few minutes before going back to the hospital...
Sleep is the only issue I have right now...not getting much.

Your prayers and posts are helping very much...keep them up!!!
You can post more than once...its like a get well wish each time.

Thank you all so much,

Barry

Just got a txt msg from the CVO princess! She sounds like she's doing good (considering the circumstances) and she appreciates the thread! Told her to get her sweetness in here cuz we miss her!

Chanting *wiggle them toes, wiggle them toes!!*

Just sending out more good thoughts and hoping that things are getting better a little at a time!

Just got off the phone with Barry.  He says that he has been working but doing very lite duty and that he is very tired, Josh is still about the same but the Doctors are decreasing his level of his pain killers tomorrow (which I think is a good thing).  Barry ask me to tell everyone that he appreciates everyone thought and prayers as he and his family need that right now.

Barry just want you to know that we all are one big family here and that we all here have you, Josh and your family in our prayers...
and yes Josh Wiggle them TOES!!!

Just got in from the hospital...

Josh had a really good day today...and a great evening!!! He was joking and moving his arms a lot better. There is still no leg movement but I told him to keep trying. I told him not to say "I cant"  and to only say " I will try". He cant grip real good with his hand...but my older boy gave him a foam sword and he was waving it around tonight and poking at the nurses. And he seems to always get the cutest and youngest nurses in ICU. I think they fight over who gets to take care of him. He is going to have surgery on his elbow on Monday. They are going to put a few pins in.
He might be out of ICU by saturday...but there are still many complications we are dealing with.

Thank you all for the good thoughts and prayers...they really do help!!! I will repeat that...they really do help!!!  I am so blessed to be a part of an external family we call CVOharley.com.

Thank You All,
From the bottom of my heart,

Barry Heine

Hey Barry, so good to hear a progress report and that it is good.  Any progress is good, no matter how small at this point.  Bless you and your family.  We're thinking good thoughts like: wiggle those toes, and want to keep hearing from you.  :2vrolijk_21: spyder

Hey Barry!!

WOW and YAHOO!! Great to hear that not only is Josh doing better but that his spirits are up! Half the battle in injuries is keeping an upbeat attitude about I CAN do this! It's no easy task but I'd imagine with all the loving family support AND *ahem* those cute nursies ;) it helps tremendously!!

Bubba! Thanks, also, for your update! It's important to keep Josh and his family on the front burner and keep thinking "wiggle them toes". The power of positive thinking maybe not be able to be measured but I for one believe there is a huge ripple effect that is more than worth making the effort!

The fact that they'll be able to do the surgery Monday is fantastic news! That means he's gotten stronger! And backing off on the meds is a hopeful sign as well! That Josh must take after his dad ;) Strong, smart, a hard worker, a great person and full of hope!! Ya gotta love Josh!! I can't wait to hear he's out of ICU!!

Keepin' the faith and a big smile here!!
GO JOSH!! WIGGLE those little piggies!!

Barry, Josh and family...

I am so glad to hear that Josh is doing better! I continue to pray for you all and know that God will hear us all. Wiggle those toes infinity times ten! You know, they told Sparky he couldn't ride...but look at him go!

Best of luck!
