Really sorry to hear about Josh's crash and trauma.  I can only imagine how you must feel Barry.  We're pullin' for Josh.

As I'm not super religious I still will pray for Josh and for you and your family Bro. Keep your hopes high and your chin up , this will all work out how you wish it will. I just came back from a 4 day Faith Walk retreat with God.  We had no cell phones and was not able to hear about Barry's son Josh until now. I got Brian's and everyone else's messages. I immediately called Barry and prayed with him and just got off the phone. He is very tired and was bringing some food to Karen his wife.

Barry's faith is strong and it was a joy to speak with and petition the throne of God in prayer for Josh's circumstances. Doctor says it will take a miracle for Josh. Well our God is in the miracle business!!! God is in perfect control and His will well be done. Our prayers is the greatest thing we can offer Josh right now so please continue to pray!

Barry has been overwhelmed with the support and love from everybody! May we continue to support our dear brother and his sweet family! May God get the Glory in this tragic accident. God's sweet love and Blessings to you all!

Cant thank you enough for your wishes and prayers... just got in from the hospital and I am very tired. But seeing all the posts are like get well cards in the mailbox and are very much appreciate.  Josh is stable and about the same as Cheri explained earlier in the post. We really want to see him move his toes!!!

He was a little grumpy tongiht...which is a good sign!!! He is getting more feeling back each hour.

This is the hardest thing I have had to face in many years...your prayers and thoughts are priceless!!!

Barry, so glad to hear of Josh's improvement.  This has got to be hard on you and your family.  My daughter was in a bad car accident in 1989 and it is every parent's worst nightmare to receive the call from e.r.

Hey ya'll

Just talked to Barry to get an update. I know everyone is praying and thinking good positive thoughts. Make sure you add "wiggle those toes"!! He's pretty much the same as my last post. He's stable and will be in ICU at least through the end of this week if not the next. They're dealing with complication after complication as it comes up but they are handeling it well and have the best people available. He' still pretty doped up and having to have things done that he's done for himself forever so it's a little frustrating and uncomfortable for him. Luckily his family is right around the corner and able to get take turns keeping him company. It's going to be a tough battle but they've already contacted a specialist with spinal injuries in Atlanta. They're taking things one issue at a time and are tired but are keeping the faith!

Barry checks his computer every morning. He says reading this thread is just the right medicine with all the prayers and sincere best wishes for a speedy recovery. He encourages everyone to post and post often to give him the boost of good wishes and healing prayers! A simple, I was just thinking of you and Josh and wiggling those toes is appreciated more than you know!

He says he'll try to post in a couple of days when he has anything new to tell us. In the meantime Barry, just know that all the love and support of this CVO family have you in their thoughts and we're thinking "wiggle those toes".

Barry since I know you are reading this and know that it's hard to reply to all of us individually, please just know that Susan & I are thinking of you and praying for Josh to fully recover. Although we have a common bond of motorcycles, something like this brings us even closer. I know this is a rough time but remember that you have an extended family here to call upon. Sleep is the only issue I have right now...not getting much.
