are amazing...and thats all they do is spine accidents. Josh is progressing very quickly
to the amazement of all...some are even rethinking their beleif in God...its just a miracle!!! The girls and I are somewhat back to normal...they are back in school and I am working some...but scheduling light. Karen and Josh are down in Atlanta and settled in for the long haul. As far as donations to help...I have been avoiding...since I am a giver...and if you know a giver...they are terrible recievers!!!  But we are taking a financial hit...I have made it through tougher than this and will make it through this. Karen is out of work for possibly three months and I have all but quit my overtime work(translated chrome money)...oh well, all that is important to me is that Josh will walk and regain use of his hands. My company decided late this year to hold my bonus till the first of the year...and that puts a bind on xmas...it may be a very visa xmas. I have three kids of my own and two others I am raising...life is full and I have what is better than money!  They will have a great xmas no matter and Josh said he would walk by then as my gift!!! What a geat gift!!!

I know there are some who want to help and all donations will go for the expenses of Karen and Josh and the mound of Medical Care he has needed...If there is extra it will go directly to Josh to help with all the extra stuff he made need to return to a normal a life as possible when he gets back home...

Just wanted to give a quick update...

Things are kinda at a stand still. Josh is moving his right leg real well and the left
is moving but not volentary. He is moving two fingers on his right hand still but nothing more.

Karen isnt sleeping well and they have both been very frustrated. Josh has more PT this week and will keep him more occupied, which will help.

The girls and I will be going down this weekend to visit. I pray there will be some little improvement...as thats what keeps you going.

This is a tough recovery, like I said my friend is still improving after 9 months, sometimes he didn't have any change for a week or more. Doctors can't say how much more he can expect, it a torturous waiting game. Look at the things you can be thankfull for, he's alive, awake, he hasn't lost any memory, and he is moving some of those extremities. Keep hoping and praying, we'll be doing the same!! Stay tough, keep the faith!

         Very little in this world scares me except something happening to my loved ones. I often wonder how well I'd hold up under the circumstances. While we are all praying for Josh, I'm sure I speak for many here when I say how much I admire the strength you have shown in the face of these difficult times. So not taking anything away from Josh, but you're a hero too.

I fully agree with Brian here Barry. And you might not see progress every day either. This will take some time. Barry, I check every morning on Josh on the other site I think things seem to be going pretty good.  I know it is hard on the family being a part but I know you are going to get Josh better because of it.

Wanted to thank Mark (MJZ) from Memphis for swinging by the Shepherd Center in
Atlanta and visiting with Josh and the wife.  It meant a lot to them and myself.
My wife said you were a great guy and easy to talk with...I already new this.

Thanks for bringing my kid some gift cards...when he gets better I am sure he will
use them.
