Call V&H or recheck values and re calibrate.

I'm running the exact same setup on a 07 SE Springer and have been in contact with V&H about 9 times. Each time I get a different answer and different values. The bike runs OK but not perfect. Still backfires on heavy decell, and runs hotter than I like. I'm about to can the box and go to something else. I'm convinced after talking to V&H so many times that they haven't done enough R&D testing on this engine. If any at all!!!

I'm not sure, but I don't think the Vance & Hines  Fuel Pak has anything to do with changing your timing.  Too advanced timing -stock timing -may need to be adjusted.

Thanks for the replys, No timing changes in the fuel pak, just fuel. called V&H only to get the standard values for the fuel pak, was hoping someone had played with the values to get an idea what is needed to rid the heat and decell popping , going to try a PC I now I can get the decell pop out with it.  Thanks Doc

I have the V&H headers and mufflers on my 110, but went the route of the SERT instead of the PCIII or Fuel Pak, just because my tuner was very comfortable with the SERT.  No decel popping, no heat issues, and AFR runs at about 13.9.  Might want to consider the SERT.

Go with what Red Devil says. Find a good Tuner and go with what they are good with!
I had the Fuel Pak on my 06 Street Bob and it ran OK.
Mileage sucked and decel popping as well.
Then went to the PCIII and runs much better and cooler and little popping
on decel.
GooD Luck,

I run the Fuel Pack with stock mufflers and V&H True Duals.  Lots of Decal and only reasonable mileage, it continues to run hot but I put my experiences down to a poor tuner who has no real idea.
