Hotmetal,
Awhile ago there was quite a bit of discussion on this and you can find them through the search function. There are about seventy posts on this as well as a multi part poll.

Additionally, a member by the name of cfell had his bike repurchased by a dealer because of the rear wing arm problem he experienced with his bike. He wrote an extensive letter about this experience.

There is a diferance in high speed stability of my SEEG compared to my previous ride, an aniversary ultra.  The evo ultra toped out at about 113mph if you can trust the speedo.  It was smooth and steady at high speed.  My SEEG seems light in the front at that speed.  No woble but a little scary.  It also gets to that speed a hell of alot faster than the ultra did.
You know what my wife says, slow the hell down! [smiley=brood.gif]

I voted yes a few times, but my wobbles are definately related to rear steer that improved by installing the TRUE TRAK. The problems only occurs in very specific situations and knowing those situations helps to predict when it will occur. Predominantly in high speed (65mph+or more) turns, where the road has an incline. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

My bike did the same thing. I installed the Ride-Str8 set-up on mine. ( http://www.ride-str8.com/ )

Noticed they reduced the Ride-Str8 for 2001 and prior bikes to $275....now if they'd just make that the price <<period>>>.  I think $480 is about twice what most of us are willing to dish out for this piece.

I've been trying to get him to lower the price! He would sell a lot more if he did!

Keep workin' on him, mw.  I have this item on my "wish list" and would be in in a heartbeat if the price was around $300-$325 including the core charge.  When we tried the group buy last summer it didn't go over too well.  Had to be the price since the quality of this thing appears to be first class.
