Anyone else getting THE RUNAROUND from corbin on these seats for our bikes???

Anyone taken delivery of there seat from Corbin yet. Seems to be a different answer everytime i call them. If you have your seat can you post pics of it just to save my sanity that they actually make a seat for these bikes. I ordered the solo with a backrest straight black no special request. Why has it been 8 weeks. Sorry for the rant just looking for some help..

You would have thought for your 07 that the seat would have been in stock.  If the seat is on their website for your bike, they make it.
The only advice I would give is that when you call, try to talk to that person each time and have all your order info available.  When you call you don't know if you are talking to the Florida showroom or the California factory unless you ask as they take turns takin the calls from their 800# it seems on what time of day you call..  Hope this helps.  Bob

Thanks for  the reply Bob;

I have spoke to two people there. I ordered the seat 8weeks ago now and there has been a bunch of different answers that i have recieved by them. Just was wondering if anyone has got the same answer.

Be careful with Corbin,  I think the company has really gone down hill.  I order a seat from them a few years ago and it came damaged and they blamed me and wouldn't take it back.  You may get more action from them if you ask for a refund and if they give it to you easily then they really didn't want your business anyway.

Yup, I am....Pissed too.  Delivery was to be September 13th. 
They email that they are having problems...October 4th I call and MF some guy.
I tell him I want a refund.  To thier credit I got $220 bucks back and a date of construction during the week of 10 22. 
I haven't contacted them yet but will friday to find out wtf is up.
It is for a solo with back rest for 07 serk. Some blarney about fitment issues.

Sounds like a rock and a hard place type of issue. 

Harley is willing to send parts that aren't ready for prime time.  That leaves us the grief of messign with, dealing with, and often paying for it in either time or money (or both) after the fact.

If Corbin really doesn't have the seat right do you really want them to send it anyway?  It may be a pain in the ass waiting.  But would you rather wait and have it right or get a BETA seat and have to deal with either freight charges back and forth to finally get it right or being annoyed by it every time you walked out to the bike and saw it not fitting as well as it should?

I'll wait....If it as good as my dual tour it will be worth it.
It has been so rainy down here I have hardly put 200 miles on the serk in that last month.
I have been riding the Oldster whenever I can, what a hoot!

I too would wait for the seat.  Just about everyone on here with a Corbin wouldn't be without one.

I ordered one (flame stitched, heated dual touring saddle) for my SERK from Jenny at Charlies HD a few weeks ago. I just got off the phone with her and she tells me it should be in next week. This is confusing to me. Why Am I not getting any indications of any problems as ya'll are? :nixweiss:

Seems Interesting to me. Same answers im getting i have not been offered a refund though that would be nice. Problem is i ordered it through  a dealer. I am really starting to wonder about this company. What is wierd is when you call corbin some tell you there is problems others act like im crazy. It is really hard to believe that it is this hard to spend 500.00 dollars. I guess it just plains sucks.
