Gary, please............chrome/polished SS hardware on that points cover would really bring out the bling.  It would do the same for the cam cover as well.  And I'm going to assume that since the first pic was APR 06, you've taken care of that nasty neutral switch...........haven't you?   :P

I'm not into that much detail to go changing out screws/bolts etc I don't enjoy wrenching that much. :nixweiss: I used to have the "hot toppers" on my Fatboy but found them to be a PITA because they would constantly pop out, and I was always replacing them. >:(

Thanks to Terry I did take care of that neutral switch, and oil spout. :2vrolijk_21:

Still need to get this - Kuryakyn Rear Cylinder Base Cover for Touring Models to cover up that seam between motor and tranny that always gets the crud on it. >:(

I used those things on my 02 Ultra, BUT during the installation I made sure I had a good supply of beer, the Sirius radio tuned to Channel 14, and a tube of clear silcone.  Made for a relaxing afternoon of gluing Hot Toppers on all those zinced fasteners.  I never had one pop off, although it took some effort to get them off if the requirement presented itself.  Just a thought.

That REALLY is a beautiful piece of metal, Gary, and it does look great.  I've seen it on Terry's bike.  As much as I like it, I haven't yet been inconvenienced by pulling out the can of WD40 and an old rag to make that nasty stain go away.  Further, it is my fear that if I simply cover the stain, it will eventually grow so large that it will peek from the edges of that nice metalwork and look even worse.

Isn't it neat how we all suffer from the same psychosis, only in different ways.............and some of us more than others?  I'm a sick puppy!   :huepfenjump3:
