Here are two phone shots that will totally screw up everything. First comes the gold base, then graphics, then red candy in the appropriate palces, multiple coats to get the proper shading. The graphics aren't done yet, but it's starting to take shape. I'm sure when the candy starts going on in the appropriate places, the whole character will change drastically. Right now, I see a gold bike, but this one is gonna be red.

These pictures suck being taken inside under the flourescents.

I'm getting excited now Chief, can you tell them to hurry up and get this finished?  :D

Thanks guys. It's coming along. No more pictures until all pieces are wearing their coats of candy. I'm thinking early January.

A lot of time has passed and things are progressing. All of the tins are in the spray booth getting covered in House of Kolor Kandy today. They'll get baked this afternoon and then they're in for a couple coats of clear to protect it all.

The frame is in and will be shipped off to Sumax for it's own make-over later today.

Here are a couple of shots I took this morning in the booth.

I'm both  :bananarock: and  :huepfenlol2:at the same time. There's no turning back now.

Here's a really poor shot of the final candied test panel against the factory saddlebag color. The bright stripe is the gold base which will be left gold around the graphic elements. The sun was really bright, so the picture is horrible. We're going for the maxxed out candy color of the top segment.

Chief,
Looks good. :2vrolijk_21: I was confused until I got down to the last photo and saw you were still staying w/the red. Looks like it'll be well worth the wait.
