Don't see many pictures of the '8 White SEUC, I have seen five sitting at HD Shops.  Buyers beware, all five had paint problems...the saddle bag lids do not match the bags, much lighter in color...the inner fairings do not match the outer fairing....

Check em out...has nayone else noticed this?

Yes, local dealer has one for sometime now and I noiticed tour pack looked a different shade? Thought maybe because of the lighting?

Saw one at the local dealership.  Was weird to look at.  One time in one light thought it was terribly mismatched.  A different day in different light it looked normal.

Our Copper Canyon is like that too. Depending on how the light is hitting it, it will look like the inner faring is red and the bags or tank are orange...enough to say...WTF. Then as the light changes it all looks the same, no mismatch. I suspect that all the metal flake in the white will cause it to do the same thing.

I've been asked a couple of times about the "color changing" effect the Copper Canyon does.  Mine shifts from Red thru Orange to a Copperish color depending on the light and the angle.  This definetely gives a missmatched appearance if the angle of the light is right.  I did notice this is more pronounced on the white verison.  That's because the pearl in the paint shows more or there is more in it.  You can see it when you look closesly at the paint when the two are sitting next to each other.  Not sure if the anniversary colors do the same.  I've only seen one and didn't get to park mine next to it and compare.

Everyone has complimented me on it and I personally like it.  I never even thought of it as a problem until I read some of the threads on here.  For my tastes, I think it's cool.  Kinda like the Chroma Lusion paint the DuPont has.

After I saw that white one the second time and realized it was a pearl effect I liked looking at it much better also.  That first time, however, you didn't ge the impression the paint had pearl in it.  In that light it just looked like a pretty ugly mismatch.  On other light it was a very cool effect....
