Bartender
« on: November 07, 2007, 08:19:05 PM »

A man walked into a very high-tech bar. As he sat down on a stool he noticed that the bartender was a robot.

The robot clicked to attention and asked, "Sir, what will you have?"

The man thought a moment then replied? "A martini please."

The robot clicked a couple of times and mixed the best martini the man had ever had.

The robot then asked, "Sir, what is your IQ?"

The man answered "oh, about 164."

The robot then proceeded to discuss the 'theory of relativity', 'inter-stellar space travel', 'the latest medical breakthroughs, etc.......

The man was most impressed. He left the bar but thought he would try a different tact.

He returned and took a seat. Again the robot clicked and asked what he would have?

"A Martini please." Again it was superb?

The robot again asked "what is your IQ sir?"

This time the man answered, "Oh about 100".

So the robot started discussing NASCAR racing, the latest basketball scores, and what to expect the Dodgers to do that week end.

The guy had to try it one more time. So he left, returned and took a stool.

Again a martini, and the question, "What is your IQ?"??

This time the man drawled out " Uh.....'bout 50".

The robot clicked then leaned close and very slowly asked ,

"A-r-e . .y-o-u-r . . p-e-o-p-l-e . . r-e-a-l-l-y . . g-o-i-n-g . t-o . . n-o-m-i-n-a-t-e . . H-i-l-l-a-r-y-???"

Don't take that the wrong way boys and girls, I getting real excited about opening weekend here in Missouri. (Nov 10)

So what are you guys gonna do for 8 years after she gets elected ?

I can tell you from my own experience the past 7 years, it gets damn tough changing the channels fast enough to avoid hearing a word and not reading a newspaper or magazine for 7 years has been brutal. I'd have never made it without all of you.

The only way she gets elected is if YOU don't vote and I know everyone can count on that.

Hope you're not talkin about me VAZ. The only thing I've made my mind up on is that I'm not voting for her. BUT, as I've tried to point out to all of you Hillary bashers, the more you make jokes and diss her, the more you stir up people to vote for her. The left, women, minorities etc etc. I've said it again and again and again, all of these personal attacks actually give her more of a base than she'd have if you'd just ignore her. I honestly do not believe my wife likes Hillary nor has any plans to vote for her, but if I go off on Hillary, my wife says " maybe I'll vote for her just to prove you wrong "  And I think a lot of women feel the same. And in case you missed it, the last census had more women than men in the USA. Nobody likes being told who to vote for- - well ok, the religious right does, but other than that nobody does. Telling people NOT to vote for Hillary is the same as telling people TO vote for somebody. If you want Hillary to be President, just keep doing what you're doing. If you don't, IGNORE her and she'll fade away. If Hillary gets elected, it will be because of all of you Hillary bashers. One thing everyone , Republican, Democrat and Independant alike are tired of is the Swift Boat style of politics. It worked once, it worked twice, but like the third guy on a match, the sniper's gonna draw a bead on it this time. You can see it already in the way Barrack Obama is conducting his campaign lately. Say what you've got to say without attacking your opponent. Draw the line between you and them but do it without the personal attack. That's going to be the key to the Oval Office this time. The candidate who can get people excited about voting for them because God knows we're all tired of voting for someone because their only qualification is they're NOT the other guy.

I want to be inspired. I want to care about my President like I did Ronald Reagan. I want someone I believe in. Who's out there that fits that bill ?

oh crap......  ???

If nominated I will not run.  If elected I will not serve.  I don't want a pickle.  I just want to ride on my motor-cycle.

(proper citations to Lyndon Johnson and Arlo Guthrie [now that's a mixed footnote I bet never happened before)]
