My 07 Stage II 103 Dyno
« on: November 12, 2007, 05:14:08 PM »

Had the post break in SERT /Dyno tune on my 07 FLHX 103 Stage II .
This is the standard Stage II with SE 255 cams /SE street performance slip-ons /SERT  and no headwork.

I'm quite happy with the torque curve , 111.27 lbs ft and 94.23 hp .. not bad for a 103" EPA motor  8)

Chevis White built and tuned it, he is the same wrench that did my 95 " WG3 .

Thanks!!

Looks really good! All that torque out of the hole has got to be a lot of fun!

Something strange seems to be happening between 2800-4200 rpm....

A few rolls ,  not really that unusual , stock heads aren't know for the great flow characteristics.  After warranty that will change.  Seat of the pants it's almost like an electric motor , smooth an linear, of course the IDS helps.

Let me know.  . Again that kind of low end tq is a blast to ride. Now adding a ported head you will pull the power out longer.

Being a new member here, I hate to bust your bubble---but, that dyno run is extremely erroneous.  It shows the barometric pressure as 25"--I've never seen that low a pressure in a hurricane.  To back this up, the correction factor is 1.17.  No way you can claim this run as close to actual output.  This is not the first run I've seen from Frasiers and they all have been VERY misleading.
Again, I hate to bust any bubbles, but the facts are the facts!   :nixweiss:

Racing was pretty good last year.  We finished 1st in southern region and 2nd in National points.  Working on some new things for next year.  Expect some REALLY different carburetion.(like I've never tried something different!)  Might work--might not, gotta try it!!
I know its not like me to bust bubbles, but I have to point out the facts.
BTW, who are you rednectum????

Hawgzilla , I notified the dealer of the issues with the barometric pressure

No problem with bubble bursting , the error was with the dealers dyno.

I'm satisfied with the builds performance and that is all that really matters .

Happy holidays

Nidan even though your happy with the seat of the pants, are they going to redyno the bike for you and ensure that when it is fixed correctly that you have no air fuel issues as well as a true final dyno run?
