are you looking to just change the noise?  It'll run but not optimally.

George is right.  It will not run as well as it should.  Needs to be re-mapped to run its best after a pipe changeout.

The crossover exhaust header pipe puts about 30% of the exhaust into the left slip on and 70% into the right one.

True dual headers change the output to 50-50.

I'm an auto tech so I understand how o2 sensors works, so I have to assume the o2's read differant from left to right since the ECU would be looking for a differant reading on the right from left.

The ECM gets info from the O2 sensors and the exhaust temps will change since the output is 50-50.

So basically the ECM would be trying to richen the rear cylinder thinking it was over heating do to the 50% of exhaust and that would be out of it's 10% adjustability

You have your priorities in the right place.   :2vrolijk_21:

From experience, its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission when wimmens opinions are involved. New pipes are one of the necessities of life.  8)

My wife and me have been together since 1983 and I've been riding Harley's all that time, I don't really need an excuse to buy Harley parts, But I'll try that one just for a laugh. She is a real good biker ol'lady, it's all about the bikes with her too.
