I ordered a FLHTCUSE3 a few months ago and was give a ship date of 11-7-07 about 8 weeks ago.  I checked with the dealer about 2 weeks prior to that date and said the date had moved to 11-13-07.  Today I stopped in at the dealer to see if it was in route and found out it had not shipped yet and a new ship date had not been posted yet.
Is anyone else out there experiencing any delays in getting your new bike??

My bike was scheduled for 9/7, then 9/28, then 9/25 and arrived on 10/17. I appears that this is normal.

My '08 SEUC was scheduled to ship om 11-07....called the dealer today and there is no update from Harley...looks like they are about 3 - 4 weeks behind and this may increase with the plant closures coming up.

I bought mine 08SERK with a delivery date of 08-01 and it did not get to the shop until 08-14 and it was shipped to NC. so a couples of weeks is about right.

I hate to hear it, but mine is the same way.  Ordered my '08 FLHTCUSE3 months ago.  Planned ship date was 11-08-07.  Couple weeks prior, stealer said they have usually been arriving about a week later.  Checked again this past weekend (11-17-07) and still says planned date 11-08-07, hasn't gone into production yet.  Noticed their web site said phase 2, I hope that's not after Jan 1.  I've heard a month late to two weeks late, to another dealer that said their first one showed up the following week.  They told me it was showing up in November, their running out of time!

Add a month to what they tell you. That seems to have been the answer for those of us back in August/September.

When the dealer can give you a VIN, that is a sure sign it's being shipped.  No VIN and you don't win.

  Ain't got no VIN Number yet.....hols the HD hold partern...additional delays will be happening since they are not working Thanksgiving or Christmas weeks.

I made my deposit in Oct for bike scheduled for 16 Nov 07. The sales manager told me at the time they were about 3 weeks behind on average. Then last night i read in Easyriders mag that the York Pa facility among others will be close the week following Thanksgiving 26 Nov. Now I'm just hoping I'll have mine before the year end.

Thanks for all the feedback.  I had an very interesting day yesterday.  At 12:00 noon yesterday I received a voice mail on my cell phone from another stealer that they had received a 105th anniversary edition and my name was on their call list.  I immediately called the stealer which I had mine on order with to see if I could get my deposit back and they said it would be no problem. So one thing led to another and you can see from the attached picture what happened.  This is the original model I wanted but had settled on the Copper Canyon/Silver. One lucky guy today!!  Already put 100 miles on it.  I'm going to put Rienhart tru duals, SERT and A/C on it this spring.
What a machine!
