Henry, what's that brown stuff under the snow? Is that grass? I had to ask because I forgot what it looks like.
Let's see: You are in NY. I was just a tick north of you for the past few weeks. I saw, and dealt with the snow. Now, I'm back in my beloved home....in Alabama. Understand snow is rare down here. Yep, it's grass.
We got about a foot in the last day or so. Drove 120 miles round trip to get my daughter from college on mostly country roads with lots of hills yesterday afternoon. Saw a lot of cars in the ditch. What are they thinking driving like that?
You know, while visiting the Constitution State, I asked myself the same question. Seems prevalent, no matter where one travels, to find cars in a ditch during periods of inclement weather.........heck, it doesn't have to snow. Down here, cars in a ditch are a pretty common sight on Saturday morning.

I'm going out to snowblow right now. It'll likely take an hour or two.........
Have a great time. I'm gonna figure out how to get my motorcycle off a broken jack.
