Not the most observant!
« on: March 18, 2005, 09:33:51 AM »

Noticed last night that the rear floorboards are backwards...so I looked at my own pic taken last year just after delivery and they were originally correct.

I have had the bike in the shop for two things, replace the peeling-chorme rear wheel and a 5K service.  Why would they have the boards off?

Either that or someone is playing a joke on me!

It'd be easier to service the primary fluid/chain/clutch with the left board off... although entirely not necessary.

I can't think why the right...  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Ok y'all (that is again - all of you, every last one of you) No one is allowed to switch my floor boards in the Valley. I have no passenger floorboards and if I have my right foot on a left board and right foot on a left board I am going to feel like the sky is below me and the ground above me and this may be a very disconcerting feeling.

Look at the forward lean all around it, the pipes, the saddlebag guards...

Like that look. The boards flow with the lines of the bike.

That's a heck of an idea. The biggest problem I have w/ passenger boards is them striking my calf. Let us know how they work and I might also try switching them. Thanx.

Screamin, I don't have my passenger floor boards on at all. If you ride solo, what good are they?
