CVO 110" Springer Heavy Breather
« on: November 19, 2007, 06:12:58 PM »

I bought the HD Heavy Breather for my SERK and I saw a picture one time of a Springer with the Heavy Breather with the 110" end cap on the filter.

Anyone with the parts specific manual for the Springer that can locate the part number of the end cap?

I beleive it is only on the 2008 Softail Springer.  Below is a pic..

Thanks!

As far as I know they only sell it to the CVO 110 FXSTSSE2 2008 and the dealer must return the damaged one. H-D try to keep the CVO's parts authentic. I know this because I own one in Europe and it comes with the lousy football shape cover which amongst many things it does not allow you to reach the brake pedal properly, since the football casing hits your right leg; a safety hazzard H-D didn't think about; just wait till someone in Europe gets killed  because of this, and we all know the front brake is garbagge anyway.... Even though I don't live in the US I will soon proceed to denounce this as a safety hazard issue to the NHTSA; the bike is made in the US, so they must also take care about safety issues that can cause accidents by vehicles built in the US  www.nhtsa.dot.gov should do the trick.
