I lost a very good friend today, my 5 year old fm Rottwiler, she was pregnant and evidently she started having the pups while I was at work and had complications, which killed her and the puppy's, as I sit here morning her death, (drinking lots of crown) I wonder are people better then animals? she, was always there, no matter what happened, she , didn't care if I had to much to drink, she, would always be my friend. she, no matter what the cirrcustances. would always be there to cheer me up ....... no matter what!!! I will miss my good friend, someone who will never take the other side, someone who does not care if you are right or wrong, someone who is my friend till death separates us...... good bye and I love you sugar!!!!!!

Ah TC that sucks and I feel for you. Our dogs do us so much good and their passing cuts to the bone. Take care brother.

Oh Randy, We're so damn sorry to hear about this man. We feel terrible. Our hearts go out to you!

                              I do understand death, hell most everyone that were my partners are dead.... the hard road we lived, very few of us survived, we are the lucky ones.everything dies, people, plants, pets, motorcycles, cars, everything.........can you tell me one thing that does not die??eventually?? but, some things are better then others........ no matter how long there life is. and right now at this time I think, my friend that died....... understood me better then anybody anytime.......well if she didn't she did;NT argue about it anyway.  and I will miss her.

TC...I recently lost my girl too.  Sometimes pets are better than people.  I sincerely feel your pain...all you can do is remember how much joy both of you brought to each other's lives.  A good dog is hard to replace, but there are some out there who need a home like you obviously can provide, so in time, you will find each other.

randy, i feel ya dude. have lost many loved ones, and many dogs. it hurts, it makes you angry, its confusing. i spaced out everytime.

something that never dies???  memories of the great times and the licks, hugs, fetching balls, peein on your leg, that goofy look they give you, laying at your feet, pullin your leg wanting to play, escaping and playing hide and seek while you worry to death--------------memories of something you love never die!!!!!!

Sorry to hear of your loss.  Having had pets my entire adult life, it's never easy when you lose one.  They are always there for you no matter what the situation.  They bring happiness, fulfillment and a wonderful sense of belonging.   Like rednectum said, the one thing that never dies is the wonderful memories that we had of those furry balls of joy.  You'll never forget them.  Are people better than animals?  Sometimes I wonder.  Pets are never judgemental and love you unconditionally...can you say that about most humans?
