Thanks everyone!!! I've printed all these off and will take them over soon. They live pretty close to us fortunately. They get a real charge out of hearing things from this forum.  

Boy Mr Magoo, grandma still takes a ride at 91, how great that is.

Dave, sorry about that. Too close to my bed time I guess, that or getting old myself. At any rate, pretty great she can do that at 91!!

66 years of marriage is a great inspiration.  I have never heard of that before.  My Mom and Dad made 45 - she died before they could make 50.  Jamey and I have been married for 22 years.  I sure hope we can make 60 years together.  Heck, I'd be pretty happy with 50 years together. 

I think it just add credence to "The family that rides together, stays together."

Mrs.We, heck, 22 years isn't bad. So many don't even make it a year anymore. The wife and I will make 35 next year and hope to make it to at least 66 also. Maybe there is something to "The family that rides together stays together". We plan on practicing the heck out of that one.....

IROAR, thanks for the post. I'll add it to the others that I'm taking to them. Not sure about the Iowa thing, they did spend many winters in Arizona.

you should tell your mother about her and "insist" on her going for a ride. Bribe her if you have to. I would not take no for a answer, just make sure you have some extra help on loading & unloading her. Good luck and remember.....

Ya, might be worth a try Dave. I've thought about that but haven't suggested it yet. Might be able to get it done with enough help to get her on an off. Too darn cold here now so we'll see what we can do next year. Thanks for the nudge! If we get her to agree we'll have all kinds of cameras going. 54 years between rides is too long!

A BIG thanks to everyone for their posts about my folks 66th anniversary! Took all the printouts over today and they got a really big kick out of reading them. They couldn't believe that so many folks from all around the country would wish them a happy 66th, and that it's all because of the love of riding a Harley. The whole internet thing is kind of mind boggling to them but at any rate, they really, really enjoyed reading the posts. They want me to pass along a big thank you to all of you! Me too!
